This isn't always something you think of when bringing home a brand new baby, but they really are essential. There's nothing like placing your tiny little bundle in their new car seat and feeling like they're completely engulfed in the thing and their little wobbly heads have nothing to keep them from flopping from side to side.At least I didn't think of it over twenty years ago when I brought my first baby home.Now, with a new grandbaby, I thought I would nab one of these for my daughter so she wouldn't have to worry about it amidst everything else. And this one is lovely. The dual sides with different fabrics is an excellent idea, one side being a lighter fabric for hotter days, and the other being a soft, warm fleecy velvet for days when a little extra warmth and comfort might be nice. This should wash easily and has nice, sturdy stitching that will hold up.This is the perfect fit for most infant car seats and will give your baby's little head the support and cushioned sides it needs to rest comfortably.There isn't a ton to say other than this is a good choice, a good deal, and a good price, and if you don't need one for your own newborn, this makes a great gift for a new mother, because it's one less thing to think about in her quest to prepare for her baby, and she'll thank you later.

This car seat liner and cushion is really helpful for keeping a small baby comfortable in a car seat until they grow into it better. The cushioned arch at the top helps to cradle their head when they are still in the floppy newborn head stage.It's nice to have a washable layer between baby and carpet so you don't have to take apart their whole carseat for washing in the event of a diaper blowout or spitting up incident. The seatbelt straps and buckles can fit into the convenient slots.

This is a really nice car seat insert. It does come shrink wrapped, so give it a day or two before using to allow it to puff up properly. You can also try throwing it in the clothes dryer for 29 to 39 minutes to speed up the process.The problem with most car seats is that newborns and young babies are too small to comfortably fit in them without propping with blankets or small pillows. Car seat inserts are the best solution to address this problem.This particular insert is thoughtfully designed to provide head support, as well as padded full body support to make the baby comfortable during a car ride. There are a few choices in the fabric color, and I went with the grey. The fabric color is accented with soft looking white clouds and white dots scattered about. The overall aesthetic of the insert is appealing to look at. The current pricing is comparable to other inserts, but this one looked more neutral in color to go with most car seat colors. It appears to be well constructed to last through several machine washings, giving many years of practical use.

I got this for my stroller seat, and it’s been a game-changer! I like to recline the seat all the way and use this instead of the bassinet attachment that came with my stroller. It makes the whole seat much more snug and comfortable for my baby. I imagine he’ll be using it for quite some time, even after 6 months when he starts sitting up more. Great quality and super useful!

Color is pretty, but I’m disappointed otherwise. It’s flat and has very little cushion. It doesn’t look or feel like it would be supportive at all.

The Minky baby car seat cushion fits well in both a car seat and baby stroller. I haven’t used it on a bouncer so I can’t comment on whether it works there too but I believe that it would. Although it’s labeled as a cushion, I’d suggest that it is more of a cover instead. The majority of the “cushion†is located around the head area and offers only minimal head support. The rest of the insert is padded but it is very thin. The insert is reversable. The material with the printed clouds feels a bit coarse. Because its purpose is to hold a baby, I think that it should be softer. Likewise with the plain side. Although it is soft, I would prefer that it too was softer. The insert is machine washable. I’ve only washed it once and it held up well. Although the price is under $20, I have had and used similar inserts that cost around the same price or less with better quality.

I thought this was an average car seat support. The solid color side was super soft and plush. The other side was not soft and had a slightly waterproof feel to it (not that it is waterproof, just felt like it). It fits in a car seat, swing, stroller, or wherever you need the support. The support is an odd design, with the three sections overlapping each other, which adds some bulk to the car seat. It does not have harness covers like most supports do, so there is that to consider.

This newborn insert offers good support for small, newborn babies. It is double sided, one side is a soft velvety fabric and the other is polyester. Our baby seems comfortable with this newborn insert. It could be used in a car seat, swing, or stroller. It is not overly plush but provides just enough support to get a secure fit for baby. Easy to remove and wash. Nice quality product!
