This valve worked great for my daughters Hammerhead go-kart. It was very simple to install, it fit the hose perfectly and did not leak. Installation is as simple as cutting the gas line into two sections, inserting the barbed ends into each side of the tubing and tightening the hose clamps to secure the valve to the tubing.

All metal design. It's not clear if the flow has to be directional, but a big arrow indicates a direction, but only when the lever is in the closed position which seems dumb. The closed position is also counter intuitive. The lever is crosswise when the valve is open, and in the direction of flow (with the arrow) when the valve is closed. This is opposite of all typical flow valves, so at a glance you think the valve is closed but it is open and vis-a-versa.

There isnt much room for failure with a part like this. If you are having trouble with a negative pressure fuel pump id change it to this.
