If you are replacing an existing T101 or T101R control you do not need to buy the whole unit, this mechanism fits into either enclosure. For any units that are SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) there will only be a total of 3 wiring terminals that will be used. There is a Neutral, Line, and Load terminal. The 2nd Line and Load terminals that may be seen on the insulator cover will not be used and will not be on the actual unit. Mechanism only.

Bought a replacement since the original Intermatic timer died after 20+ years. The new one didn't even last one year. The yellow dial quit turning which caused the pool to stay on for 24hrs for over one week. My electric bill was through the roof. The timer is located in an enclosed pool shed so it was weather or water that caused its failure. I guess the newer timers are not the same as the older ones made years ago.
