I needed a 10x1mm die for making an adapter to mount a VDO oil pressure and temperature sensor to my car. This die cuts the threads with no problem and were a perfect match for the sensor threads.It matches perfectly in my 1980's Crafstman tap/die set and had no problem cutting the new threads.I would highly recommend for the occasion use as this isn't that common a size you'll find used on import vehicles.

Got the M10 -1.00 to repair the EBP sensor threads on the 7.3. Was pleasantly surprised to see the Made in USA on the die and packaging! Definitely worth the $ spent.

Sharp and durable, used a few times with some lubricating cutting oil on steel and aluminum. Wish it came with a handle - had to use a wrench to grip and rotate. Use some downward force to start off, then just apply torque after a few threads

I use Irwin die product all of the time. They cut effectively. Do not push the die and it will last.
