When I 1st received these I was skeptical but hopeful they would do the job that I got them to use way up on a ladder winding a spring for my Motorhome’s awning where one slip would be disastrous & these pliers worked flawlessly gripping an irregular shaped part & holding it firmly.The teeth can harm the finish so I put a rag over the part & used the pliers over it.They are designed to grip different size mostly rounded surfaces replacing the need for pipe wrenches when you need a pressure grip & a smaller sized wrench.It’s a good addition for my ever growing tool box collection & I’m sure it will find its way into other projects.

Good for general welding fabrication, but this tool save my dinner after 10 minutes battling with a old el paso salsa and try every trick, brutal strength, rubber band, hot water, cold water, spoon or knife... this vise grip save the day!!!
