ISC Rubberized Skid are not coated with an adhesive that can be submerged or put underwater. So if when applied there is any gaping which would allow water to seep underneath to the underside of the tape water would degrade the adhesive pretty quickly. Country of Origin: United States.

I bought this to place over my slippery door threshold as a way to provide better traction for my aging dog who had stumbled over the area several times. The threshold was a brass-colored shiny finish - the clear tape is perfect - allows the color to peek through, but gives it a nice matte textured appearance. I actually prefer it to the original look. Works wonderfully for traction, was easy to install and has stayed in place for months despite rainfall, wind and heavy foot traffic. My sister (who didn't know I'd applied tape) saw it and said, "wow that's a fancy threshold"! The only downfall was the cost, but given how well it's held up, it was worth it.

I used this as a gripper on my diving board. It adheres great to the diving board. It does not adhere over old grip so you do have to remove all of the old grip tape
