I purchased it to replaced my old rusted mail slot. It fits great and is beautiful on my newly painted door.

I would have given this a 5 except that we can see daylight in a few places around the edges. We are pleased that it no longer vibrates when the wind blows as our old one did.

The color pictured on the listing is much brighter than the green, brass mail slot we received. That’s disappointing, however, it is a good quality easy to install and looks fantastic. Just be wary of the color.

I actually reached out Amazon within months, but it was outside of the return period. Two years after purchase this is what it looks like. Don't waste your money.

I was about to give up. couldn’t find a perfect fit for my old door. This was the right size and looks greater
