BATTERY LIFE - I am on calls much of the workday. I’ve been using this headset 3-5 times a week, for multiple hours at a time with no issues for about a month. Many days I have been on the phone for over 8 hours, though probably never had the headset on for more than 5-5.5 (hours) without at least 30 minutes on the charger during a break. At this point I can’t speak to the long term use of the unit, but early battery performance has been fantastic!COMFORT - One of the most comfortable headsets I’ve ever worn. Some may prefer dual earpieces, but I actually favor those that have only one. While I typically where it over the same ear, I can easily switch from side to side if needed.SOUND QUALITY - The audio is crisp and clear and the headset has great range! I am able to go anywhere in my house, yard and to the mailbox with no degradation or interruption in audio sound or quality.EASE OF USE - All I had to do was plug it in and my conf call program automatically recognized it - no special installation or configuration required. The headset itself has an easy to locate mute button right on the earpiece, which is great if you are walking about. (I tend to pace when I think!). Volume controls are also on the headset, though I must admit I never seem to hit the one I want first time.PORTABILITY - It breaks down fairly easily and goes in the original box with a little patience, but I don’t think it was designed for travel and am concerned that snapping the headset apart and together will eventually prove problematic or it will get damaged in transit.MISC - One thing that may be annoying to some is that when on mute there is an intermittent “tone” that sounds. I think I’ve gotten so used to it I don’t even hear it now. On one hand it could be distracting if you concentrated on it; on the other it does serve as a reminder that mute is on. The cradle indictes clearly when you are muted, but you can’t tell by the headset alone - a small indicator light on that would be a nice add on for the future.SUMMARY - I am very happy with the purchase and the price was reasonable. This is a great little headset and I’ve recommended it to peers. I actually like it so much I am considering purchasing a second one to leave at my alternate office so I don’t need to keep taking this one apart. However, even with a fair price it may just not be a fiscally sensible choice at this time to buy a second.***July 2019 update***16 months (give or take) since my first review and I am back to support the initial 5 stars I gave it overall.I really am very impressed with the battery life and durability of this headset. It’s been much mor reliable in sound quality and holding charge compared to the much pricey headset from work. And I find it far more comfortable! As I indicated in my first review, I spend several hours a day on the phone and it’s held up throughout. Still very pleased with my purchase and I know the sound quality from my end is good as others have asked about it when they were in the market. I always recommend!

Update: 2017-01-14I always appreciate it when people update their reviews after living with a product for some time, so here's my update. It has been 3 years since I purchased this headset and it is still going strong. I continue to have 3+ hour conference calls on Skype and other services using the headset. The battery life has never been an issue and the call quality is still excellent. I still highly recommend the headset.---------------------------The Jabra PRO 930 is a very good quality headset. Before buying the Jabra, I bought a less expensive headset with very good reviews (the BlueVIBE BH3) that did not work well at all -- people noticed the difference in quality versus a wired headset immediately. After that bad experience, I debated "breaking the bank" and buying one of the $300 Plantronics headsets because I didn't want to waste more money on yet another sub-par device, and I've used other Plantronics headsets and found them to be very good. In short, I'm very glad I saved the extra money and bought the Jabra.I used this headset with some of the same people who noticed the quality issues when I switched from wired to wireless (using the BlueVIBE), and this time no one noticed. On my end, the voice quality of the Jabra is indistinguishable from a wired connection.I use the headset with Skype on 3 - 5 hour conference calls and webinars (GoToMeeting, etc.) and it works very, very well. Worth buying.

This headset was easy to setup - literally just plug in the power, then plug the USB cable into your computer and it's ready to use with Lync or other communication software. Also, the Jabra PRO 930 headset works great - excellent sound quality on both ends; the approximately 300 yards of wireless distance is pretty accurate, but will vary depending on what is between you and the base (for example, I had reduced connectivity when I entered a metal building near the house, but was able to walk 300 yards away from the house with no other structures between me and the house). The headset has all the useful controls on the headset itself - volume up/down, mute, plus hang-up/answer. I also really like the indicators on the base unit - it shows the power on/off, whether or not the headset is in use, and whether or not the mute is enabled.

I bought this for myself for work and it was working great until 4 months in and it stopped working. The seller Stavvy Sales is not a certified reseller for Jabra so Jabra couldn't help me. I then contacted the seller to have them replace and I have yet to get a replacement.

This is a very nice and inexpensive headset. I work from home for a call center at large company using a Avaya softphone on my computer. It has a very good range so if you need to walk around to grab things in your office or even go to different parts of your house, it works very well. The customers that I talk to all say that they hear me clearly with no muffled tones.The thing that I find that I dislike the most about it is that it occasionally lags on the sound. The Avaya rings when a call comes in and it only rings one time but because the headset sound shuts off, I often don't hear the first ring or catch the first few words of what the person is trying to say. Other than that, there's no issues with it going in and out. It plugs right into the USB for easy use and charges as long as the computer is on. If you power down, it will not charge. Keep that in mind. But it lasts 8 plus hours as well.

This item arrived in good shape, however, it did not come with any instructions at all. I couldn’t get it to answer a call (using the button on the headset itself). I had to call Jabra to find out why not then call the IT dept of my employer to get it installed properly before it would work.

This has delivered as advertised. Excellent range, plugs-in and works, and I haven't hit the battery limit. Hopefully, the battery will hold-up for a couple of years while maintaining the range.If I have one complaint, it's that the boom for the mic isn't flexible. It's fine to be able to move it up (toward your temple) or down (toward your neck), but being able to move it outward or inward would be great.

Comfortable and great quality. Occasionally disconnects but a quick power cycle fixes that. I'm happy with it.
