They are the cheapest poppers on the marketplace. I needed them quickly to replace the rusted out set that was installed about 6 years ago. They lasted about that long before the spring got rusted out and broke. Otherwise they installed in the same hole, all hardware needed for proper install was included and I got them the next day. Job complete. I’d buy them again if I needed a cheap popper kit on the quick.

Build quality is good and they’re easy to install. The only improvement, would be to make the tension more adjustable. The spring force was so strong, it was holding the door out more than needed. I ended up getting different springs and now these work fine. Would be a nice addition to include an alternative set of springs or make this adjustable.

I was planning on using them to push a tailgate open when unlatched, but these are so large, I cannot fit them anywhere feasible. Shame, as they DEFINITELY have the strength, but the body of them, and the space requirements needed to use them are insanely large.

Now if only I could find someone who sells the kit for the door. Damn door poppers are illegal now, so hard finding replacement parts. These worked fine and price point was fair. Thanks!
