This is a good replacement hood for your Fuji x100**. I have an x100, but my Fuji hood became loose during a recent trip and kept falling off. The mount for the new one screwed right into place, and the hood has a very solid, tight fit. Solid materials and a matching look too. All this for a fraction of the price of a Fuji hood. If you need a new hood, this is a good hood and a good deal!

I was hesitant to get this based on some of the reviews but I am glad I did because it saved me $75. Photography gear is expensive and this was an amazing bargain. I don't have the OEM one to compare it to but I will say this fit perfectly on my X100V and the hood attaches securely to the adapter ring. It feels sturdy and well made. I did invest in a Fuji brand 49mm filter which will arrive later this week and I have no reason to think I'll have any trouble with that fitting either (otherwise I will update this review). Highly recommend this brand.Update: The Fuji filter fit just fine with this hood.

Looks great, solid build. Only downside would be how its mounted to the lens, it feels a bit too easy to take off. Definitely don't feel comfortable holding it by the lens hood. Minor issue though, overall love it. Seems like a great value in comparison to the Fuji OEM version.

The hood itself is nice, but I was very disappointed that the silver color doesn’t match my X100VI. Not a deal breaker, but something silver Fuji owners need to know before buying.

I’m really happy with this product because it’s a fraction of the cost of the Fuji brand version. It’s easy to take on and off and it’s very light weight because it’s plastic. The color is a good match to my X100VI. Close enough.

Installation was a breeze. It took longer to unscrew the front ring on the X100F which you need to remove prior installing the adapter ring. The classic vented look of the hood really fits well with the retro styling of the X100F. Screws easily and the fit and finish also match the camera very well. No complaints. NOTE: The adapter ring will accommodate any 49mm filter in front of the fixed lens including the UV filter which will protect the front element from mishaps

Looks great on the X100F, and it matches the upper metal of the camera perfectly. This is a metal hood (aluminum, I think--check the description), not plastic. It fits well over my UV filter and takes only a slight 1/8 or 1/16 turn to lock onto the lens. Very nice for the price--not sure Fuji's could be any higher quality.

Great old school lens hood, looks good and works great to protect the camera. As a pro for 30 years, I have has many metal hoods like this protect the camera when they have been dropped. I really like this, and it's so cheap. I use to pay $40-50 for Nikon ones for my gear. Love this.

Keeps out as much stray light as is possible with this focal length. Also doesn't have any edges to snag when pulling it out of a camera bag. Recommended.

Very useful product that allows me to attach a 49mm filter plus lens hood to my Fuji X100V. Quality is excellent and the threads are perfect. Only knock is that the silver color is a little off compared to Fuji's all aluminum look. Still very close and I'm perfectly content with the purchase. Amazing value for the price!

Top quality, fits perfect, looks cool. Does intrude into it viewfinder and throw flash shadow, but hey, quarter turn and it's off.
