Common applications include water purification systems, reverse osmosis systems, ice makers and misting systems, car wash systems, home/office coffee and beverage dispensing equipment, and pneumatic lines. Manufactured with FDA-approved materials, the tubing is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic, and it is NSF 61 and 51 certified. The tubing is suitable for a wide range of pressures and temperatures and provides excellent chemical resistance. It is rated to 230 psi @ 70 degrees Fahrenheit and 120 psi @150 degrees Fahrenheit. John Guest LLDPE tubing can be used with most OD tubing connectors, including John Guest Push-to-Connect fittings and valves. The plastic spool can be racked easily.

Hrm. What can one really say in a review of plastic tubing?If you're looking for tubing to handle water in a hydroponics system that you're building or expanding, this is probably the tubing you're looking for. It fits all 1/2" inch barb fittings, which are the most common barb found in hydroponics systems.This tubing is very flexible and takes a bend with no flow problems- No kinking or 'flattening'. It's also thick-walled and tough-looking. The tubing is tinted blue to resist the development of algae.I gave this item four stars instead of five because I feel it's overpriced at nearly 20 dollars for 25 feet. But, it's PRIME eligible and I needed it fast so I overpaid. If it were priced around $15 I'd give up the fifth star.

Just to specify since they don't this is 1/4in OD not ID like most use, and it's tiny, so if your looking for 1/4in ID then this will not work for you just a heads up.
