I live in a small apartment where I run a 5-gallon humidifier in the bedroom. Tired of filling and hauling buckets of water from the kitchen to the bedroom daily, I bought this hose to run from my kitchen faucet along the floor to the humidifier.The hose works great. It's just the right pliability to bend around corners. Absolutely no complaints, except one biggie... the extremely strong, lingering, plasticky odor. You cannot even sit within a few feet of the hose. After a couple weeks now, it the stench hasn't yet begun to dissipate. Currently I'm lighting scented candles to mask the smell. I'm tempted to rub something like Pooph on the hose, but I don't want to risk damaging the vinyl.EDIT: It took a few more weeks, but the plasticky odor did subside. You can still smell it if you put your nose right up to the hose, but the odor no longer fills the air.

I have 2 drinking systems that need the hose, adapters, and bite valves replaced frequently. This tubing is thick, flexible, fit easy for my purpose, and was a good value. Was easy to work with in changing my drinking lines

I needed this for my fish tank because my tank is more than 25 feet away from my sink. Every time I would do water changes I will have to carry buckets back to forth which was annoying and a hazard because of the slippery floors. This would allow me to connect to a water pump that siphons the water directly into the sink by running the water from the faucet! The hose was flexible and did not kink up, which was very important. Doing the water change, adding water back into the tank with such a breeze. I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner. It takes me half the time doing the fish tank water replacement now than it was back then. No mess

Tried using for a drain hose from my dehumidifier. It worked ok very stiff. I tried a different brand hose and the new one worked great. The new had better flexibility and went on flawlessly.

I use this with a water pump to do water changes in my aquarium. The ends are sealed but I was able to cut through the hose with regular scissors. The hose does stink but I left it in my garage for a few days and it seemed to help a bit. I works great for what I need it for and it does seem true to the advertised dimensions.

Pretty pricey compared to the hardware store and kinks really easily.It does the job but will be buying elsewhere for cheaper.
