DTHD connectors
DTHD connectors are single terminal connectors for heavy duty applications. Easy to install, environmentally sealed, and compact in size, they are a simple, field serviceable alternative to a splice.
Connectors are made of PEI Polyetherimide material, feature an integrated latch for mating, have rubber sealing rings for waterproof, and can be mounted or used in-line.
Size 12 Solid Contacts
crimp wire range is 12-14AWG, current rating 25A. Compare with stamped contacts, it has stronger stability and conductivity, recommend using a professional 4 indent crimping tool

These are not Deutsch spec DTHD connectors. The housings are ok. The pins are lower quality than Deutsch spec pins.

At this point I have had one out of four that have failed to accept or to retain the pins. I have used 12 sets and the failures are evenly divided between the male and female sides. However, the cost compared to name brand makes this acceptable.

8 gauge alternator wire with a really thick insulating jacket. This worked wonderfully for a quick disconnect fitting.

JRready ST6286 1 Pin DTHD Connector 4 SetsDecent enough, but fairly large for a single connector. Best for 12 gauge wire. 16 will work if you are creative.
