Works great, my only complaint is that it was a pain to get seated all the way, but that seemed more how the Chevy attachment point works than this parking brake cable.

In the picture, the new one is gray after I trimmed it with dremel tool, the old one is white.*I would have returned this* but I was committed to replacing it - so I made it work.The plastic plug was 0.03" too wide and would not plug into the bracket. 2008 Tahoe.

Fit perfectly on my 2007 Chevy Suburban. Was a perfect fit. Great option for the OEM and great price.

The only thing useful is the cable itself. The handle/lever doesn’t sit flush with the panel and won’t return to the closed position after you disengage it. The installation was a pain since you have to dremel a significant amount of material to get it to fit the original housing bracket. I ended up switching the handle with the original so the only thing I was able to use is the cable. But for $15, I shouldn’t be complaining too much

Plastic retainer on the pedal end of the cable sheath is larger than the original so one must spread the metal retainer on the pedal open and use pliers to seat the cable into the bracket. Those that are handy will have few issues but it does not fit like factory. Worth it to me at 1/4 the price from GM but not a direct fit.
