Always my question when ordering from Amazon. "Is this item going to be garbage?" This box fortunately is not. The seal is good. I know this because the box was under vacuum when it arrived. A bit of prying opened it. For me that's a good sign of a tight fit. The hardware is stainless, not completely non magnetic but will probably be fine in the rain. In a salty environment possibly not. The internal mounting board is very convenient and works perfectly for my application. For small sealed low voltage use this is perfect.To the company that made this, well done.

I'm running outside lights on a large patio. I'm also providing power to some Video Security cameras. I needed something that could house the power transformers and be protected from the weather. This allows me to put a regular dual receptacle in the box and with the use of some power cable splitters (1 plug - 5 receptacles) handle the small power transformers (AC to DC low voltage cabling). Most of the exposed cabling is low voltage DC usb cables.This was easy to install. It keeps the AC current enclosed and protected from the weather. I can put a small padlock on it. It has an appealing look on the side of my house, under the patio roof.It is easy to provide the necessary exit for the low voltage cables and maintain its waterproof rating.

This little electrical box has been a pleasure to work with.Easy to drill holes for the electrical lines and gland connectors.Solid clamps to hold the lid tight and keep water/bugs out.Using this for 2 ea. 110v outlets, 2 camera 12Vdc power supplies with transformers.Mounted 2 short din rails and utilized WAGO style connectors.One for the 110V and One for the12Vdc transformers and circuit breakers.Would highly recommend.

I really like this box. The picture of the internals above are prior to the project being done. Was still waiting on parts at the time. However, it gives you an idea of what fits. Although, there may be multiple sizes to choose from depending on the listing at the time. If so, my box was sized 14.6" x 10.6" x 5.9". I was expecting to use nuts in order to secure the DIN rail on the back side but I decided against it as #6-32 screws snugly fit into the square holes and provided a really good bite. Very pleased with that. I am used to drilling holes in the back plate and securing with nuts and bolts or rivets. Penetrations for conduit connections are easy as it's a plastic box. Again, I'm used to metal so having plastic made everything easier. I would definitely buy this box again. The only concern I have is how well it holds up to UV. Only time will tell.

This fit the bill for my holiday light show electronics that sit outside 24/7 in rain, snow, sleet and sun. Just make sure to use waterproof glans to run the wires.

Box has a very good watertight seal around the edge and has been mounted to my back fence through the winter without any problems. Very good mounting hardware included. Does what it's supposed to do!

The product is worthless. The box is so twisted from the inside that the seal is compromised. In addition, the 2 holes to lock the box are not aligned. Disappointed considering the price of the box.
