I was searching for hangers that could be welded and found these. The description said metal, so I thought I would give it a try. With a small amount of fabrication these hangers welded great and securely to a swing set frame!

The product is very robust, can hold the kids and adults on the gym bars. I fixed it on the basement beam. Easy to install, you just need to drill a hole before installing the wood screws.

The hangers work extremely well. They are very sturdy and have a good weight to them. The swing mechanism operates smoothly and the hardware is solid. I used my own screws because I wanted longer ones to run into studs, as I was hanging a lot of weight. However, the screws that come with the hangers are of high quality. I just needed something a bit longer for my specific use. The hanger itself can certainly handle a lot more weight than what's stated. But if you want to utilize the full weight capacity, you'll need to use stronger screws than those provided with the device. Nonetheless, the product is as advertised and accurate.

Used for my 2 daughters porch toddler swing to mount on a 2×4 from the roof of our porch. Works wonderful & well made. I did notice a flaw which makes the bracket squeak a little but overall not a big deal but is annoying after a while of continuous squeaking for hours. LolSturdiness, fit, easy installation for most part but a drill would have been easier but I don't have one so I used a socket & ratchet to install the brackets.

Very sturdy but extremely challenging to find the hardware if you are a novice. Put these on a 4 x 6 beam of pressure treated lumber for a swingset. Did research and decided a carriage bolt was the only way to go, I wanted something keeping this on the wood no matter what (my dad said a lag bolt could theoretically come lose inside the wood). The head on the carriage bolt had to be forced past the little metal part on these hangers, and then held like that during install but they worked. It’s true that the hex thing underneath the head won’t let the bolt get completely flush with these hangers. But they’re not going anywhere. Used 1/2 x 7†galvanized (corrosion resistant) carriage bolts into the 4x6, then a lock washer and large “OD washer†then a 1/2†nut on the end. I had to buy a drill attachment that was long enough to go into the 4x6 (was actually a 3.5 x 5.5 beam). To keep the carriage bolt from wiggling out of the swing hanger during install, we pre-assembled each one (slid the bolts in and pushed them past the metal protruding thing) and kept them like that as we put the bolts into the wood. Otherwise they kept coming back past the protruding thing. But it wasn’t hard. (See last photo for what I’m talking about)Looking back I would have made sure I knew what we were doing for hardware before the day of installation...I forgot that hardware was not included. Huge hassle if you’re new to building stuff. But they’re very secure now at least. We put them 18†apart. I also plan to tighten them in a month or two because I read that pressure treated wood is swollen when you buy it, so hardware can loosen a little as it dries out. I feel very secure knowing the washers and nuts are keeping these bolts in, and I can manually check and tighten them.

These parts were needed to hang a swing we ordered. They were very heavy and are sturdy enough to hold 300 lbs. - They seem plenty sturdy enough to hold two adults.

These are very heavy duty and after 3 years in service show no signs of wearing out. Between these and the oversized chains I used, people think that I built the swing for an elephant. I guess it may be overkill but I'll probably never have to change it out in my lifetime.
