  • Since its launch, this antenna has been highly praised for its sufficient power and high efficiency. The core of the end-fed antenna lies in the magnetic ring, the size of which determines the power handling capacity of the antenna.
  • Due to the higher frequency of the 6-meter band, controlling the inductance of the magnetic ring can be challenging, so the antenna you purchase may have the opportunity to resonate on the 6-meter band (i.e., Band 5).
  • End-fed antennas are characterized by their multi-directional properties, eliminating the need to choose a specific direction during setup. It is advisable to select an open and elevated location.
  • When setting up the antenna, it should be position meters away from any objects ( it should be positioned more than 3 meters away from any objects (including tree leaves), and if there are metal objects, it should be placed more than 5 meters away. If the setup environment affects the resonant frequency, you can adjust the structure by slightly modifying the length of the fold-back at the end; however, trimming is not recommended.
  • The balun has a radiator on one side and is empty on the other. This structure makes the antenna very convenient to set up; simply pull both ends with a rope, ensuring that the radiator and balun are more than 3 meters away from any objects.
  • It can be horizontally, vertically, or diagonally pulled, and the balun can be placed either above or below, making it suitable for concealed setups, especially ideal for rapid deployment in urban areas and the wilderness.

Great antenna!I only have my tech ticket at the moment... but within a few minutes of connecting to my FT891, I was hearing all over the globe. I am in Dawsonville GA.My first QSO came from Caymen Islands... #2 was in Hawaii, #3 in West Sahara desert, #4 in Chino CA and #5 was in Chandler AZ.Super cool that this piece of wire can make this happen.Really motivates me to get my general ticket to TX on the other bands... but was thrilled to hear how busy it was on 10meters. Worst SWR is 1.4:1 on 10 meters. Everywhere else it is 1.0 to 1.1:1.

I installed this antenna around roof isolated from eves, I have worked great DX with 100 watts, I only removed this antenna because of 1500 watt amplifier I purchased. You cannot go wrong with this antenna
