I love Kaish products - they are so well made and well priced. I have never seen brass jacks before - this adds a nice touch to my project and may work better in the long run, Thanks, Kaish!

Definitely not the highest quality but will absolutely work for passive instruments that may need a new jack. The install is simple if you possess basic soldering skills.

The jack was easy to install. I upgraded the one in my Ibanez guitar when the old one became twisted and the wires disconnected.

After installing, I couldn't get my 1/4 in cable to connect. Come to find out the tip connection was too long and wouldn't lock into the male plug. I had to bend it and it finally made contact but then it would not fit back I to the guitar body. I got frustrated and ended up using an old switchcraft jack I found. It worked perfectly. In the right circumstanceThey would be OK, but for me they got a failing grade.
