I had a little fitment issues and I had to adjust some of the screw holes but it got me the look I was going for. Completely redid my bass with EMG GZR pickups and paint job. This pick guard sells the look.

I've bought a few Kaish pick guards in the past and they ALL were off by 1 mm from the screw hole alignment. This time I must've got a good factory run. I put this on my Fender Special Edition black Mexi Precision bass. All the screw holes aligned up just like the factory pick guard. Finally! I can't say if the one you will get will have the screw holes off by 1 mm but who knows? Maybe they changed where they get these made? I've bought their diamond plate pick guards for my Jazz basses and those were off. All I know is that this black diamond plate pick guard looks fantastic against the black bass's paint job. Rock On!

I have a Fender Precision bass from the 1990’s and tried to use this pick guard. It doesn’t line up properly. Screw holes were off, the part around the neck was too narrow, and the pickup cut-outs weren’t wide or long enough. I had to cut more material out to make it work. Fortunately my P bass is already naturally relic’d, so the cuts, trims, and grinds that I made fit with the rest of the body. I would not buy this for a newer and cleaner looking P bass. Too bad it wasn’t cut properly, I bet it would look nice on a clean looking bass.

I have a diamond plate pickguard on my Tele and decided to buy this one for my old Squier P-Bass that I converted to fretless using the Jaco method (pry out the fretwires using a razor blade, fill the gaps with wood putty, sand it down, finish by rubbing with lemon oil) because I like the look of the diamond plate. I'm happy with the end result but it took some work to get there: I had to take a file to the pickup cavity to make it fit around the pickup and then once I screwed it on to the body I had to use a drill grinder attachment and some sandpaper to made it flush with the neck cavity so that I could reattach the neck. It looks great but just be warned that it may not fit every P-Bass and you may need to spend a couple hours making it fit. Because of the extra work that I needed to do, I had to ding it one star.

Put on a 2022 Squire Affinity Precision Bass.Mounting screws all lined up fine.I upgraded pickup to Semour Duncan Qtr Pounders. Standard size pickup covers and still had to file around pickups to fit properly.Edges are sharp. I sanded edges of Pickguard so as not to scratch the paint while installing.

I buchi dei pick up non coincidono. I buchi delle viti non coincidono. Peccato perché è veramente bella. Dovrò molarla.
