I have used flourokote line in a couple different weights and have been very happy. Castability is great. I've put this stuff on several baitcasters and had no issues with backlash or knotting. The memory is fairly low for a flourocarbon line. I use a lot of braided line to and this is my go to leader for those applications. Great abrasion resistance and damn near invisible underwater making it great as a leader when fishing spinners and diving lures

I've switched over to this stuff, from using standard monofilament line. All my freshwater spinning tackle is set up with Fluorokote. It took me exactly one fishing season to test it and figure out that it outperforms most mono lines. It casts better, it's smoother, it's just as strong and it gets tangled much less than your typical trilene or stren. I've also caught considerable MORE fish while I was testing it out. I believe it lives up to its claim that it's not as visible to fish, and therefore lessens the chance of spooking them. Last summer, I caught tons of different species using it. I tried another rod with mono line right alongside the Flurokote rig, and it didn't get as many bites. The line is not totally perfect though...it has gotten tangled, but I've always been able to troubleshoot it quickly. Way less than standard mono. This goes great with the KastKing reels, too. I'm convert to KastKing products overall, as are members of my family. They make great affordable, and effective(!) products.

Cheap, Quality flourocarbon!! I liked Fluorokote so much that I purchased 150yd of 6lb test and 300yd of 12lb test to used for my leader lines.... Exactly as advertised, 5 stars from me!!

Overall these lines are great. The first thing I notice is that copolymer makes the line thinner compared to nylon mono which is nice. The thinner line combined with the fluoro coating does make it as invisible as fluorocarbon as far as I can tell. The overall downside I can see is that there is a lot of line stretch, but I can’t say it’s really cost me any hook sets, and is probably more than worth toughness you get out of it.I have used the I have been extremely happy with the 15 lb and 8 lb especially. They cast well, hold knots well and take a beating around cover but still hold strength (I still retie when I see abrasion though). I have had a problem when I spooled the 4 lb this on my ultralight. There seems to be a “spring†to that line off the reel, but at the same time doesn’t seem to have the memory curly Q’s coming out the rod tip...kind of weird but may be my spool of the 500 size spinning reel is too small. Despite it will be a good leader for line shy fish in the clear spring fed creeks and quarry/clay/coal pit waters around here.Oh and one more thing. The price is great for what you get too!

I used the 6 lb version of this on a 2500 sized reel and I am not loving it. Line strength and knot strength are good, but this has way too much memory. You have to be careful with wind knots and I have typically not experienced that with Berkeley Big Game at 8 lb or even 12 lb. It might be a good leader, but seems too stiff to be a main line on a small spinning reel.I thought copolymer was supposed to be more supple than mono, but maybe I am mistaken in some way.

First let me say I’ve tried most all flourocarbon lines on the market and primarily use Sunline FC Sniper or Seaguar Tatsu (15, 17, & 20lb test) for my ‘go to’ tournament rod setups.Having a ‘big bass bash’ coming up I wanted some super heavy test line for the event so I got some 25 & 30lb spools to try. Was I pleasantly surprised! The FlouroKote had much better abrasion resistance, casted smoothly, and very little memory so far....but the real shocker was how much stronger and less stretch it has vs the above lines! I literally could not break off this line and have pulled hooks straight out of brush pile hang ups rather than break off the lure! It’s that strong! One note - some people mention they found it to have excess memory.....a tip...tie the line to something solid land walk off a length of line ~ 2+X your normal cast and ‘stretch’ the line a bit! This REALLY helps with line memory and I’ve found it works for most all fluorocarbon lines I’ve tried. It gives the line a bit more ‘set’ so it doesn’t hold the memory of a tight wound spook of line...,has worked wonders for me in recent years!I’lol definitely be stocking up on more of this line for the future! Especially at a price less than half what my previous lines cost!
