This product works well and is good quality. We've been able to move our kayaks off the floor. So I give five stars to the product. But I give one star to the instructions that came with the product. The instructions would have had us cutting the rope, which is the incredibly wrong thing to do. Not to mention how hard to follow they were. Luckily, after an hour of struggle, we hopped online to watch a Youtube video with visual instructions. They were great, and we had it up and running within 15 minutes. So in short. Don't try to use the instructions that come with it!!

I use this to store my ski cargo box. It's perfect for the job. Be mindful of the orientation of the brackets when you install into the roof rafters, it makes a difference which side the square holes are on.The rope that shipped with mine had a strand that was severed in the middle. It looks like it is a manufacturing defect of the rope where one of the strands ran out on the spool and another was added without splicing. It should be OK since it's just one strand but make sure you inspect your rope too.

Would have given it 5 stars but the directions aren’t the the best. Would still recommend though

Could come with clearer instructions on how to feed the rope through the “stop†I added a cleat to secure it.

I used this to get a giant inflatable bounce house out of the way. Worked pretty good :-)
