received unbent, with simple assembly. The one piece part I had ordered before came bent up in shipping. Has no foam sound padding, so I added Boom Mat spray foam and covered with two coats. This product is excellent at a fraction of other choices price. Plate is metal.

Good fit and replacement for the cheap front/rear skid pads tesla supplied. Packaging could use improvement as the box was partially damaged when received but fortunately, no parts were missing or damaged.

I installed this skid myself with the use of a local self serve garage that allowed to rent a car lift. Assembling the three pieces together was finicky but for me it worked out. I stripped one of the nuts that are welded to one of the pieces so i ended up buying a smaller longer screw and nut to sandwich through. I used red locktite to fuse all those screws and nuts together ti make sure the skid didn't come apart due to vibrations. After that when the time came to install it the only annoyance came from the screws that are holding those wierd lone pieces of metal that are integrated to the old felt skid (you can see them on one the picture). They didn't align pretty well at first glance but I was able to put the screws in anyway. So once they started screwing in it was a breeze as they made the metal skid fit their pattern. The screws basically pulled the metal skid into position. From then i put all of the other screws along the edges and i had no problem with alignment. Overall I'm satisfied with the skid.Other annoyances were unrelated to the skid. As all the screws were much more tough to unscrew the first time. I used a small ratchet and probably should have used a variable impact screwdriver instead. It would have saved me some time. One of those wierd bracket screws broke on me so i ended uo grinding off the screw and drilling through the remaining bit of screw. I was able to put another longer screw through. You can spot it on the picture as it's the shinier bigger bolt head of them all (on the right side).Overall i recommend it if you have enough tools and are not afraid to deal with surprised during installation. It's pretty straight forward and I would rate it as an easy replacement to make by yourself.
