I purchased this product and when I went to assemble it, I found the parts included seemed wrong making final assembly impossible. Rather than returning it I called the customer service number. They quickly identified the problem and shipped out the correct parts. While there was some frustration with not being able to assemble the tool, I found the experience with the company itself quite pleasant and am very satisfied with my purchase

when i received item i wasnt ready to use yet so i put on shelf in my garage. finally got it down to assemble and all the pieces that go on the bar that hold paper are missing. the ring that tighten on bar and spring that pushes against the roll. dont waste your money on this item!

Good little machine , comes dis-assembled in a box , takes about 15min to put together ,make sure you have 7/16 wrenches when you do. When you put it together you really only need the tape wheel on the side you pull from , usually it's right if your right handed and left if your lefthanded , since you always pull from the tape side.If you have a lot of covering to do before painting in a house , then this is the little machine for you , having used these type of machines in the construction for quite a few numbers of years (25+) , this machine saves you hours of time.now for the bad things and why i took 1 star off , these don't impact the machine's operation , but would make the machine better and more usable in my opinion.1) the feet need to be about an inch higher off the ground , i have fairly small hands and the space where you grab the paper is small , i imagine with big hands you'll be scraping your knuckles on the ground every time you reach for the paper to pull it off.2) the teeth on the cutter need to be smaller , they could be 1/3 of the size they are , and that would it would cut the paper more evenly , because of the big teeth sometimes when you get towards the end it starts ripping the paper at an angle , which can be a pain since now i have to fold it if i happen to be taping into a 90 degree corner.

Quality product and made in USA. But be prepared to spend at least an hour or more assembling. (I would have paid more for one already put together). Also, a small black tape spool insert is not mentioned or identified in the parts list. It is easy to leave out if not paying close attention. I think it was an after-thought or left out in the directions. If you leave it out you have to take the spool assembly apart again. About 50 small parts in this assembly "kit". I think the quality of this tape machine is worth the assembly effort though. I've used tape machines in the automotive industry over 50 years ago. This unit should pass the test of time in my opinion. Minus one star for assembly hassles.
