I bought this for bar exercise at home. Well made and very sturdy however the mounting brackets are off for stud mounting. No problem, just put a nice board plank on the wall first that IS screwed into the studs.

I had my husband put together a ballet bar station in our house, using a big, old mirror we had. He chose this bar and I love it. I appreciate that it's adjustable as she is already grown taller since installing it. Highly recommend!

The product would have been great if I was able to use it. I'm not sure if it was the old house I live in, but the studs were not correct to use this. It would work great on a solid wall though.

Update: The seller reached out to me directly and issued a refund. They assured me that they would be more mindful of quality control and improve the product. The customer service with this company was great and I hope that they uphold their standards of the product.I searched and searched Amazon to try to find my daughter the perfect beginner ballet barre that would be affordable yet good quality so I mistakenly decided to go with this one. I read some of the negative reviews stating that people had issues with the installation and lack of instructions (I added a picture of the instructions for your convenience) but I didn’t think that I would have issues with the welding. Quality control was obviously lacking, as the metal welding made it completely impossible (trust me, I tried forcing it) to put the screw into the hole (see picture). Clearly the seller did not inspect the item before sending it out. I’m sure I could have done some extra work to drill out the welding but at that point, I could have just gone to Home Depot and bought a dowel and staircase brackets (which I am doing instead). This issue has rendered this item complete junk. Don’t waste your money, seriously.If you do decide to purchase this barre, be mindful that most studs are roughly 16in. apart, so you most likely won’t be able to install this into a stud evenly and will need some sort of support bar (which would not have worked for my project as I would putting it over a mirror). If you want a seamless install, look for a barre that is 32â€, 48â€, or 64†(depending on your project and available wall size).I hope this helps!

Seems nice but the image that states that the distance between the mounts is 32 inches is a lie. It is 36 inches and so cannot be installed on a standard stud wall. You have to put a backer board on.

The adjustable feature is definitely a nice and useful edition.TIP: you'll definitely want to find the studs through your drywall and install wood facing to mount this into The bar itself is relatively heavy and with additional pressure there is clear risk of damaging your walls unless installed into wood
