I inherited my mom's kitchen aide stand mixer from way back. She passed away in 2015, but I hadn't brought myself to using the mixer. She made the best Dominican cake, and the mixer has withstood the test of time. Except for this one attachment. The original that came with the mixer had started losing its coating, some had chipped away. I decided to try to replicate my mom's cake. So it was time to dust off the mixer, and get to it. It was pretty close, I have to say...but now I needed to order a new attachment, because I couldnt see myself using the original again. The new one arrived and it fit perfectly! I'm so happy that I was able to find the part! I can't wait to start baking again, and continue my mom's tradition! (Sorry for the story, I couldn't find another way to express how great it was to have found the attachment, especially because of it being one the first models to come out.) So worth the price, and it's the same original model. I wanted to also mention that my mixer is the one that has a handle that lifts the bowl, not the tilt model.

I was afraid I was going to have to throw away my older KitchenAid mixer due to paint chips coming off into my dough. You would think the company would fix the problem as it's been going on forever, but at least we can buy a replacement for a reasonable price.

The beater is new and functional. My old one has been chipped due to my fumbling and letting it hit the floor. Having a new-old-stock replacement is terrific, and the fit is perfect. Worth it.

This KitchenAid blade replacement was perfect and appears to have a better quality coating than the original.

My Kitchenaid mixer gets a lot of use and the coating on the beater was chipping off. This replacement fit well, but did need quite a bit of wiggling to get it off. Glad I got it.

I bought this to replace the paddle that came with my grandmother’s mixer. Her mixer is 40 years old and the enamel was coming off. This replacement works perfectly.

Works and fits, but coating chipped off in less than a year of very light use. If this is, in fact, a genuine Kitchen Aid product then their products have really gone downhill.

I have to buy one of these every 2 years as the coating cracks at the very bottom. I wish some company would make a stainless steel replacement beater, but there isn't one. I searched. Not the fault of this seller, just the design of the original mixer beater.

The coating is chipped on arrival before use. Feel very light weight and "cheap" compared with my old battered but robust one. I doubt if it will last as long as my old one. Send it back and continue to use my old one.
