So easy to use and has a self-ignitor. Very powerful flame if you turn it up to high. Best used outside or on the stovetop so as not to catch your kitchen on fire but we are all professionals here, right?

This torch may look like others, but it is different. It is held together by screws. Most of the other lookalikes are glued together. Its a cheaper way to manufacture, but it cannot be maintained. The glued versions are essentially throwaways. For instance, if a bit of moisture enters, it must be thrown away because it cannot be dried out. The screws allow access for cleaning and general maintenance. I expect this torch to last for years. The flame is very adjustable. It can be a "soft" or "hard" shaped flame. It can be strong, or meek. It is very easy to use. I use it mostly for crème brûlée and for charring Sous Vide meats.

Loved this when I got it. Using for Sous-vide was great, took it camping to help with fire starting and adding extra browning as folks requested, worked great, but when I tried to use it a month ago, when i tried to attach the butane tank it leaked. No matter how, it always leaked. Not sure where the failure is, but I need to buy a new one.As with most things I buy, I want at least 5 years. Not seeing it with this. Not sure why it failed, bought 2 tanks the first tank worked fine and still has butane in it both tanks now leak, both leak so it must be the torch.

this blow torch is super easy to use, no issues at all. use it to melt cutouts in ground cover weed mat to plant my trees. works like a charm. love it!

I purchased the torch and two cylinders of gas I believed were compatible as they were advertised together and displayed as commonly purchased together. This is false advertising as they are not compatible so I now have these gas cylinders that I cannot use and/or return. I believe that I should be reimbursed for these as they are useless to me. Thank you.
