functions better than any torch I have ever had. the flame adjust works flawlessly , and it's color and design make it a very attractive torch. my only complaint is the removable base plate is pretty flimsy. I reenforced mine with a medium sized bead of JB-weld. I love this torch and would recommend it to others

My only complaint is that the base is a flimsy plastic ring. I would prefer it to be metal and have a little more weight to it, but it does get what it is supposed to do.This is the type that gets refilled - it's not the kind that you can pop a canister in and use it. It does have some fuel in it already - I was able to start it several times (all on the first try) upon pulling it out of the box.Great torch! Flame control is easy. There is no lock, so make sure you keep this in a safe place away from anyone that may play with it because it looks cool... Can't wait to use it some more. My creme brûlées will be impeccable compliments of this torch (I was previously broiling them).

Duro muy muy poco, no sé si vendrÃa medio vacÃo pero solo lo encendà una pocas veces y en el mismo rato se terminó, por eso 4 estrellas.Por lo demás el material de fabricación se siente y se ve de muy buena calidad y la ventaja es que es recargable, asà que lo voy a recargar y veremos cuánto dura asi

I have a few of these similar type torches but this is by far my favorite. Unlike the usual brulee torches, it's capable of producing a huge flame that looks closer to a propane glass blowing torch. However, flames this size will suck up butane fuel in a matter of minutes, so I wouldn't recommend using it for glass blowing. Aside from the flimsy plastic base, it's mostly metal, has a nice weight, and feels well made. The firing mechanism has no lock to fumble with so it's easily lit by turning the gas knob and squeezing the trigger. I was also impressed at how reliable it lights. Most torches sometimes take 2-3 clicks to light, but so far this one lights every time on the first try.Even though the description states that it has no gas, mine was already filled. At first I thought the fuel valve was broken because it sprayed all over when I tried to add fuel. I guess by "no gas" they meant that it doesn't come with an extra can of gas.

Das futuristische Aussehen des Brenners hat es mir angetan und ich habe ihn bestellt, obwohl ich bereits einen guten (aber hässlichen) Brenner besitze. 😉Der Brenner wird aus Sicherheitsgründen leer geliefert, muss also vor der ersten Nutzung mit Gas aufgeladen werden (das übliche Gas, das man im Supermarkt oder Amazon bekommt und auch in Gas-Feuerzeugen genutzt wird). Vor dem Befüllen nicht vergessen das Ventil auf "close" zu drehen und dann die Gas-Kartusche von oben auf den Brenner zu setzen.Zum Zünden einfach das Ventil aufdrehen und den Abzug drücken. Mit dem Ventil wird die Stärke der Flamme bestimmt. Eine Besonderheit ist, dass man den Abzug nicht weiterhin drücken muss - er dient nur zur Zündung. Sobald der Flamme brennt, brennt sie. Eine automatische Abschaltung gibt es nicht. Für Küchenbrenner ist das ungewöhnlich - für handwerklich genutzte hingegen normal.Ausgeschaltet wird der Brenner indem man das Ventil wieder auf "close" dreht.Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist gut.Bewertung:1 Stern Abzug für die fehlenden Abschalt-SicherungenDer Brenner sieht klasse aus, lässt sich einfach bedienen und hat eine große Flamme. Durch die fehlenden Ausschalt-Absicherungen muss man beim Einsatz in der Küche zwar Acht geben aber dennoch ist es eine Kaufempfehlung.Im Rahmen des Vine-Programms habe ich das Produkt kostenlos erhalten - muss jedoch den Kaufpreis als geldwerten Vorteil versteuern. Beides hat keinen Einfluss auf meine Meinung, wie ich sie in dieser Rezension beschrieben habe.

This is a fairly simple device, it does exactly what it needs to do. Fill it with gas through the bottom, then you are good to go.The torch can light itself with the push of a button, and the amount of gas is adjusted by turning a wheel at the back. When lit, it really does a great job, I am very happy with it.
