Got it for killing weeds, but may prove to be very useful for many purposes. Being able to just stick a butane tank at the bottom of it and you've got yourself a torch/flamethrower. Adjustable flame from a friendly flicker to a full on torch. Should be great for fireworks as it puts an appropriate distance between the user and the fuse. I love this thing.

The first one I ordered lit about four times and then didnt work at all. I ordered a replacement and it didnt work at all and then after about 50 tries, it lit once then never again. These are junk and I wasted my time with them and now I have to wait a month its showing to get a refund.

I mostly use this for adding a little color to meat after cooking.It's especially useful for searing uneven cuts of meat like a pork loin or something similar that isn't cut so you have nice flat edges to pan sear.I use it for when I do Sous Vide cooking, but also to finish up pan searing to get a more even sear all around.It can also be used to finish up vegetables and such if you want that extra bit of presentation for them.This is not something you really need if you're not looking to up your presentation, and you do need to be careful using it. It's a large open flame and it's going to spread out a bit when you direct it at what you're searing.

Works well, the only thing is that as is going from time to time it has a burst of flame come out at it makes the coals spark

Does meats and crème brûlée. Love it, once in a while I will use it to fire up my charcoal grill. You can regulate the amount of gas to do almost anything with this gizmo. Good to have something like this lying around the house.
