My elderly cat is covered in knots. This thing slid right across the knots doing no damage to them whatsoever. I tried a sawing motion without much luck. My cat quickly lost patience

I ordered this for my long hair cat who gets knots around spring weather. This didn’t even make a dent in her fur. I tried many times to cut through her fur but didn’t cut at all. I wouldn’t recommend this
