I was recommended this product by my nurse and my SIL, and was not disappointed. The first few days of nursing can take quite a toll on your nips and leave them feeling sore, cracked, dry, irritated, etc, and these had such a great soothing and healing effect on them. They’re so easy to use; you just pop them on and they stay tucked behind your bra. They’re smaller than I thought they’d be, but that makes them more discrete and portable. They look like genuine silver and seem pretty durable. I’ve seen some people say they have a tendency to bend, but if you’re careful with them and keep them in a safe place when not in use, I can’t see how they’d bend without intentionally forcing it. As for the price, it might seem pricey, but compared the prices of some other brands, it can’t be beat. Definitely worth the purchase.And for those wondering if these are as good as the Silverette ones, I cannot honestly say if they’re the same thing, but I believe getting the 999 option is really close. I’ve had amazing results with these and not needed to try any other brands.Good luck mama!

So I bought these nipple covers in August of last year when I was getting ready for the arrival of my baby and thankfully I didn’t need them bc my baby had a great latch till this past week when I got sick, my nipples developed milk blebs. I didn’t even know what that was till literally last week. So I knew I had these nipple covers so I’m like “yk what. Lemme see if they work†and my nipples I tell you we’re IN PAIN. like when my baby would latch it would hurt. They were even bleeding at one point. And it was only the one breast that produced most milk so in order to feed my baby I had to latch him on it despite the pain. So I did that then put milk on the cover and put it directly on my nipple under my nursing bra and the milk helped the nipple heal and the cover stays in place. So next day I see that the nipple has like a white cover and I Google and it says that you should remove the excess milk skin bc it can grow over the milk duct so I did and then it hurt a bit bc the raw exposed skin of my nipple was once again exposed. So okay I keep on having the nipple cover on all day and thankfully now it’s been like 5/6 days and I’m currently nursing as I’m typing this and it doesn’t hurt. It hasn’t been bleeding anymore and one of the blisters has cleared up. I can 100% say these nipple covers saved my breastfeeding bc I think I would’ve given up if they didn’t help but thankfully they did. Thank you to whoever created them🫶

My breastfeeding journey with my 3 week old has been pretty rough to start. I started off leaving the hospital with damaged nipples after the birth of my baby and breastfeeding was excruciating. I bought these nipple cups back then because the Amazon reviews for these and similar products seemed to suggest that silver cups were a miracle cure, and I was desperate. These Koala ones were more affordable than others. I didn't get much use out of them back then because I found when I followed the recommended instructions (to apply some freshly-expressed breastmilk into the cups and then wear them on your nipples), these were also causing me pain. I think it was because the breast milk dried into a crust that was causing the cups to stick to my nipples, cause friction, etc. They also tended to move around/slide around inside my bra and stretch/pull my nipples out of place. It would result in a sharp, prickly feeling, so I stopped using them.Turned out my baby had tongue, lip, and cheek ties that were causing us both a lot of grief with breastfeeding, so in the meantime I went to exclusively pumping and my nipples had time to heal. I'm now trying to get re-established with breastfeeding after my baby had a frenotomy two days ago. Unfortunately, that means I get to go through the excruciating nipple-toughening phase all over again, and I'm having some soreness between nursing sessions, and sometimes during. I really can't stand fabric from my bras/shirts rubbing my sore nipples, but I also won't go topless because I don't like dripping milk all over myself. I gave these silver cups another try, but what I do now is coat my whole nipple and areola in lanolin, then spray a little bit of Legendairy pump lube inside the silver cups. I place them on my nipples, then put my Kea Babies nursing pads over them inside of a loose nursing bra. Those nursing pads are conical so they help keep the silver cups in place and stop them from sliding around inside my bra. I do believe doing things this way helps heal up my nipples because I will notice my pain between and with nursing sessions decreases throughout the day.If nothing else, these are great for just stopping friction/rubbing from clothes, and they are a better alternative than the silicone nipple shields because there is no ring to press a painful, circular indent into your areola. If you know, you know. I have similar problems when I leave the Haakaa Ladybugs and Momcozy collection cups in my bra for a long time.Maybe not the miracle cure others have advertised, but still a worthwhile investment for me.

I never write reviews on Amazon. But these are AMAZING !!!! I get really sore when breastfeeding to the point that I have to stop because the baby drinks blood from my cracked nipples . No cream helps.I thought I’d give these a bash, and within a few days of wearing them continuously, my nipples were completely Healed ! I stopped wearing them and my nipples stayed good. A week later they started getting sore again, so I wore the shields for another couple of days and they healed again straight away !It’s been 4 weeks since and my nipples are perfect and I’m breastfeeding really smoothly without getting sore . They are a miracle find !
