What people need to understand is that breastfeeding is so much more than the miraculous milk moms produce. To the child, nursing is comfort, consolation, security, and, above all, LOVE. There is actually oxytocin, "the love hormone", in mom's milk. God put it in there to BOND mom and baby. So my point, that's why weaning can be tough and emotional. I put "Sucker buster" on my nipples and areolas and then placed "Felix Wean" suction cup covers over that. I wanted to wean my 2 yr and 4 month old. I told him, "Mommy's milk doesn't taste good anymore." One suck from each side, and he was done. He was trying to wipe the taste of the "Sucker buster" out of his mouth. Afterwards, he said, "Can you hold me?" . I replied, "I can always hold you and cuddle you." Now he asks for me to "hold" him instead of "nurse". I just kept these covers on my nipples for like 2 days because I know weaning was tough for him, and he wanted to "see mommy's nursies". He'd ask questions and smile and kind of giggle at the faces on the covers. Prior to weaning, he was really bad about always wanted to touch my nipples (it drove me CRAZY!) and this helped with that too. He no longer had "nipple access" with the covers on. I was really struggling to wean this little guy. He was getting very demanding tearing at my shirt and yelling "Nurse!" in the midst of Mass and other quiet gatherings. He was still waking me up at night multiple times to nurse. I wish he'd had more "manners" and better "nursing etiquette" like my older kids, but that wasn't happening and wasn't going to happen. Great product. Works. My credentials: I have 9 kids and have breastfeed each of them an average of 2 years +. I've basically been breastfeeding 2 decades. WEANING HASN'T COME EASY WITH ANY OF THE 9!! Thank you for your product! My only question: Where were 2 decades ago when I nursed my 2 kids oldest until they were 3 because I couldn't get them to stop!?!

I have nursed all 3 of my girls for 3 years each and my first 2 were harder to wean. There were no products like this when I weaned them so there were some tears and anger. I always wean them gradually, cutting out 1 nursing session per week. With my 3rd baby when I told her the boobies were sleeping during our first day of cutting a nursing session, she was initially upset but then I showed her the covered boobies and she laughed! She gave them a kiss, said night night boobies, and went off to play! She was a typical nursing toddler, VERY attached to Mommy and to nursing. These covers have made weaning SO much easier! It is a really clear indication for them of when nursing won't happen instead of just telling them no and distracting them. I only wish they lasted longer but I have been able to wear them for a few hours everyday for a couple weeks and they are just starting to not stick as well on the edges.

My daughter was able to peel these off with no problem. They don’t stick well.

Adhesive is great, not too sticky and comfortable! Easy to clean and reusable! Worked in one day, for a baby that NEVER used bottle or pacifier! Cold turkey...

I’ve only used these for 2 weeks and both pads are unusable. The package insert claims the pads can be used 30-40 times with proper care. I didn’t even make it to 20 uses! They no longer stick and I followed the care instructions to a tee. I’m grateful for the gentle adhesive but for this price, there should be two pairs in the package or stronger adhesive. $25 for one set that won’t stay on is outrageous. My toddler was just getting used to them before they started just falling off. Super cute concept and was helpful while we had them but I sadly will be returning.
