These tongs are long and sturdy and actually picks up and securely holds onto what you are cooking. Great for smoking and grilling large cuts of meat but still is nimble enough for more delicate cuts. Every pair of tongs of this style I’ve ever used have been flimsy and unable to hald on to anything securely until I bought these. You will not be disappointed any longer. One pair for food and the other for moving around your coals and wood chunks when you’re smoking meat without scorching your hands in the process.

Use these with my Big Green Egg. When you grill with it, the grill grate sits pretty low in the grill. I was using other tongs before that were much shorter and I would either have to wear an oven mitt or work fast. These let me reach in easily and keep my hands out of the heat. They are also very sturdy and feel like they will last a long time

These are great for the price, function well (so far) and the length allows most barbequing without arm hair singing, the basis for the purchase. Since chefs tend to mistreat these tools, they tend to get ruined in 1-3 years, so price is a component of the selection, and these were prices great.

Great grilling tool, exceptional value. The locking mechanism is smooth and solid. The construction is solid throughout. The flat aspect of the tongs is great for getting under food on the grill, especially when it's sticking a bit, making it easy to free up without having it pull apart.
