No instructions come with these skid plates, but you don't really need them as they line up perfectly with the OEM skid plates. Gives me a piece of mind since I drive on some pretty rough country backroads often with huge potholes.

Packaging was bad, literally every corner was bent. The sound proofing pad was not stuck on in several places, some mounting holes did not align, I believe its supposed to come with 15 mm nuts or bolts for the front panel but it wasn't there. Had to do a lot of massaging to get it mounted.

Warning! Don't loose the hardware that comes with the front skid plate. They replace the two 15mm nuts. Look in the box. Other than those two new hardware pieces the existing 10mm bolts all get re-used.Definitely an upgrade over the stock plastic. Much stronger. True 1/8" thick aluminum with sound deadening. The stock plastic is about 1/16" and very flimsy, especially where it meets the battery, where the battery coolant lines are.Mine came a little bent from shipping at the "ears" but it was very easy to bend them back. The whole install only took about 30 minutes. You'll need to get the car up on wheel ramps or a lift.I drive a lot of highway and it also snows here so the peace of mind knowing that my battery coolant lines are waaaay better protected from road debris and ice balls is very comforting. If you don't already know external damage to the battery coolant lines is not covered under Tesla warranty and if the ports into the battery get damaged the only option Tesla gives you is to replace the battery.
