I have used KYB struts and shocks as replacements on my personal vehicles for years and have always been impressed with the ride quality and length of service. The KYB SM5570 comes with (1) upper coil spring seat and (1) spring isolator. The spring seat is made of steel and the isolator is made of rubber. Highly recommend.Tip: When properly "clocked", the tab that protrudes from the upper coil spring seat (See picture) should face the inside of the wheel well or 180º from the struts mounting bracket (Where it mounts to the knuckle with (2) bolts).
