I am surprised that Kyocera, a company known for copiers/printers and photographic equipment also makes culinary tools. The Advanced CERAMIC Y PEELER is pretty amazing! This is the first time that I have used a peeler and good to know that I picked a good one.I easily peeled apples for smoothies and potatoes for home fries. The CERAMIC Y PEELER works effortlessly with a very sharp blade. The handle is easy to hold, grips nicely and the peeler does not move around. The blade is easy to clean and the peeler is easy to store. I like that this peeler is lightweight, non-corrosive, and lightweight. The non-corrosive blade will not rust or cause food to turn brown. There are two-sided eye corers to remove any fruit or vegetable imperfections, this helped with peeling potatoes.Having experienced other Kycocera technologies, there is no doubt that the CERAMIC Y PEELER is a quality product.

The quality and materials of this peeler are amazing! Pretty comfortable to hold and use. Super sharp blade that gets the job done quick! I love that it comes in multiple colors, adds some character to the kitchen. Also, fairly easy to clean.

I bought another peeler from the company about 15 years ago, it was the best, most reliable peeler I have ever used. The blade carrier finally snapped. It didn't seem that they made the original peeler that I had anymore but I decided to reach out to the company to see if I could get a replacement blade. They said my original was still under warranty and unfortunately could not replace my old peeler but sent me this one free of charge instead. I like the handle on my old one, but this one peels the same, effortlessly. The last peeler you will ever need.

After years of using a traditional metal blade peeler I was amazed at how easy this peeler removes material. My initial use was removing citrus zest strips for making a lemoncello. In prior times I would carefuuly peel off the zest then use a sharp pairing knife to srcape pith off the back - too time consuming when you are zesting a bunch of citrus. This peeler removes the zest like butter.To maintain its sharp edge, we store it at the corner of a utensil drawer so that other items will not strike and break or dull the blade.The only improvement I would suggest is to enlargen the handle some to give a more controlled grip.

Great value and super sharp. It stays sharp due to it being ceramic. We have several and I have bought seal for my family members. It will break if you drop due.to it being ceramic but other than that it is great.

This is my second peeler like this. The first cracked (which may well have been operator misuse, so I don't blame the peeler). I bought this to replace it. What a beautiful little device! It is very smooth and very effective. There is no way to sharpen the blades or replace them if you crack yours as I did our first. But it is inexpensive enough that you can afford to get a new one every few years if needed. I think it is well worth the modest price.

Esse produto é muito bom!Tinha um já a mais de 15 anos e quebrou (por mal uso meu)Comprei novamente e estou muito satisfeito.Permite descascar legumes e frutas tirando uma camada muito fina da casca, além de não precisar esforço nenhum, devido as suas laminas de cerâmica.Recomendo muito.
