There isn’t much to a crystallizing/evaporating dish but I have found this quite useful in the lab! It’s sturdy, does the trick & it is nice having a spout. Of course you could use something else but I prefer borosilicate glassware for pretty much everything in the lab!

The Labnique Borosilicate Glass Crystallizing Dish with Spout is a solid product with some room for improvement. The dish itself is well-made, and the 1000 ml capacity is perfect for my needs. One standout feature is that it seems to freeze much faster than a standard Pyrex dish, which speeds up the precipitation of crystals—a definite plus for my experiments.However, the spout could be better designed. It doesn’t pour as smoothly as I had hoped, which can be a bit inconvenient. Also, I didn’t notice a significant difference in performance compared to a standard Pyrex dish apart from the faster freezing.Overall, it’s a good product with some minor drawbacks. If the spout design is improved, it would be even better. Still, I would recommend it for its durability and efficient freezing capabilities.
