The large size fits my dogs' feeding area perfectly and provides a good amount of coverage surrounding the bowls. Besides the large size, one of the main things I was looking for was the lip on the edge of the mat to keep any spills contained, and I really like how tall this lip is compared to others I was looking at so that I feel assured it will actually prevent spills from spreading. The one thing I wasn't thrilled with was the handles because it prevented the flush placement I wanted against the cabinet base, but they are quite sturdy and useful for moving the mat for cleaning. Also, it's easy to clean! Very happy overall with this purchase.

I have tried a few other silicon mats under my dog's bowl, since she is a very messy drinker. This one is by far the best quality as well as the best deal. The silicone is very thick and I love the larger size options. It protects my wood floors from water damage better than the other more expensive brands I have tried and is very easy to clean.

Bought this because the dogs walk away with a mouth full of water and slobber. This works well, easy to take to the sink and clean as needed --keeps metal bowls from clanging on the tile floor (this would be key to keeping water off wood floors). 100% recommend

This mat is made out of silicon and doesn't have anything to reinforce the bottom. The lip is very sturdy, but otherwise, it has to lay on a flat surface. It is extremely easy to clean. I did return mine because the puzzle feeder I got it for wasn't a good fit for my cat and I already have a smaller mat, but it's a great product for the price.

Wonderful solution for a sloppy problem. Cream color is gorgeous. It is not cream. Really it is a lightish medium taupe. It has no ridges so it is super easy to wipe right back to spotlessly new. The XL is generously-sized and perfect. Silicone is nice and thick. It’s edges are an iinch or so high and thick like a pie crust. Airbound food particles and splashes will just land on the tray since it is spacious to hold bowls further away from the walls and baseboards. The reason I felt compelled to buy this spacious dog feeding yray/mat was because my older dog was getting sloppy in how he ate, and his food was splashing onto the baseboards and walls and it would dry and cling to the sheetrock before I could wipe it off. I tried ignoring the problem, but the dog feeding area just got worse and worse. I wish I would have been more proactive but the problem is solved now and it does not look like any dogs have ever eaten in that area. The fact that it is folded and rolled in its packaging has absolutely nothing to do with its resilience to lay perfectly flat immediately. I love this mat!

Great for taking boots off and drying dog paws. Handles are the best for shaking mud chunks outside! Easy for kids to clean. Floor is protected. Big enough. We have two next to each other and the back door. Edge is good for ice melting.
