Pressing flowers doesn't require a very complex set up, and if you're handy you can definitely make this on your own, but if you're like me and you have a toddler you don't have time for all of that anymore and it's convenient to get everything you need in one package. It includes pre-cut cardboard and pressing papers as well has some tools for adjusting and lifting your pressed flowers.Pro tip: you can layer multiple sheets of pressing paper and cardboard to do more flowers at the same time. The screws included in the kit are long enough to accommodate this

I am so excited for spring! Not just for the beautiful blooming flowers, but also for the chance to put this pretty flower press to use! From the moment I opened the package, I was pleased by the thoughtful details, from the beautiful design to the canvas carrying bag and the waxed envelopes. Every piece felt carefully considered and added to the experience.The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful etching on the wooden press it is absolutely so pretty. Receiving the press brought back childhood memories of using a flower press to create keepsakes for my mom, and now, with my son who loves picking flowers for me, I have the perfect way to preserve and cherish them for years to come.

I had a smaller one of these, but it was much harder to work with. I make bookmarks and jewelry with flowers from my garden, but most of the flowers I use are wild. The wild ones are generally smaller and easier to incorporate into smaller projects. There are loads of supply kits on Amazon that I use together with the press.
