Had it for a few weeks now. It works great. The only time anything broke was my fault. I used a little hairspray as glue and I didn’t wait long enough for it to completely dry before firing. Best to use bullseye thin fire paper. It doesn’t stick to the fused glass at all.

I have not used it yet. All I can find are small pieces and wands of the right glass. The smallest square is 4"if a person wants to build on a platform and it does not fit. Waiting to hear back from the seller if they know where I can get glass squares that fit the micro-kiln.

Mine did not come with directions. I looked it up and was seeing 7-8 minutes. Put my glass in for a total of 12 minutes (1000watt microwave) and there was ZERO melting. Thought maybe my microwave was broken. Nope. Heated food just fine. Super disappointed, not only did I waste money on this, but I have colored glass, clear glass, stringers, kiln paper, glass cutters etc that are now useless. Outside the 30 day return window by 2 weeks, however was only able to use it yesterday for the first time.

instead of using this kiln for glass making, i’ve been using it for low fire ceramics. this kiln has held up for around 30-40 fires so far, and hopefully for many more. i’ve been able to create beautiful art pieces thanks to this kiln, and when this one starts to slow down on its firing time i’ll definitely be purchasing another!

Had to look up how to use on line. No instructions or even packaging info we’re included. It just arrived in a plain, brown box. After playing around with it for a bit, it works great!

I took a gamble as I have a smaller, 700 W microwave, and it still works incredibly well! We've been using it all day and the pieces fire great. Our firing cycle for COE 96 glass:5 min, rest 1 min5 min, rest 1 min4-8 min (depending on glass thickness), remove from microwave, let cool for 30-45 minYou can safely peek at your glass to see if its fully fused when its at its hottest (use gloves), but once it starts cooling down, let it cool all the way, we already cracked one pendant because we were impatient about the cooling process.Really impressed with how well this works, its great to be able to do fused glass for jewelry at home.
