This is are second one..We still have the first one but it was the smallest one . We fill large bottles up every day and keep them cold in the fridge. If you just want to bring one larq with it also stays cold..And the quality is outstanding. We love them. We had very bad tasting water and this made it taste great . It doesn't smell and easy to hold. The smaller one is good for travel . These also saved a lot of money because we didn't have to buy bottled water.

Originally sent a normal water bottle. Amazon quickly sent the correct bottle and I love it. So easy to use, pretty, and love knowing it's safe and clean every time I take a sip.

We gave this as a birthday gift and our niece loves it. She said the size and color is perfect. Also appreciates how fresh the water tastes and plastic does not come into contact with the water.

Conceptually, this is a great product. I even had a few good weeks of use and I was thrilled! Charging the cap was seamless. The water never tasted metallic and ice remained for two+ days at a time. Quickly, however, things began to sour rapidly. The calming blue-white purification light became an angry orange-red light indicating a malfunction/problem. According to the LARQ booklet/insert, I needed to contact customer service immediately. I did so. The months-long back and forth E-mail chain STILL has not yielded a single solution. I have provided all the necessary documentation, explanations, evidence, proof of purchase, etc., and they told me not to submerge the cap in water or put it in a dishwasher. I have not submerged the cap in water and I do not own a dishwasher. I have been very careful not to get a single droplet of water on the cap (of a WATER BOTTLE designed to hold water). I have asked for their advice or for them to tell me how to fix the cap multiple times in our E-mail chain. All I ever get are platitudes and well wishes for drinking good water. I would simply give up, but this was a large purchase for me.

Putting in my two cents here...UV-C light falls in the only spectrum of UV that can affect DNA replication. The light is enough to stop replication, not completely kill the bacteria. That’s enough for commercial use, both in the UVC wands, phone cleaners, and this water bottle. Why? Cells that do not replicate cannot infect. I do not understand the notion that the light ‘does not kill chemicals secreted by bacteria, which makes you sick’. Bacteria makes you sick. And if you disrupt the dna activity of everything in the bottle, there’s nothing alive that would be harmful.There is no perfect water. Don’t even get me started on how many CFU (coliform forming units- or fecal matter contamination) there is in tap water and bottled water. This water bottle comes pretty darn close to perfect. It doesn’t ‘filter’ so you will occasionally get a metallic taste from various sources- water with lower pH, the metal in water from older pipes. Should be fine as long as there’s not high lead levels. Every city has a water report that tells you the content, including if there’s fluoride (good for you), lead (not good for you).Also a stainless steel container is not one that ‘encourages’ biofilm activity- that would be plastic, which this is not.There are several reviews floating on the interweb from medical ppl doubting that it would work or that UVC light DOES work. As a general rule, don’t side with a camp that makes claims without evidence. Research. Science. “Trust me, I’m a doctor†is only a t-shirt slogan. A good doctor can explain to you why- with both the research done and clinical effects. I’ve never used that phrase and I don’t plan on it.Tl;dr —-The Larq water bottle is great for travelers, nomads, water purists like me. UVC light is proven to de-germ. It does not filter which is generally okay. A little bit of metal is fine, a lot of lead in your city water is not.Please stop upvoting unproven claims.

Die larq Flasche ist mit Abstand eine sehr teure Flasche, wenn man einfach nach einer Trinkflasche sucht ist man hier falsch.Wenn man aber nach einer hochwertigen und qualitativ hochen Flasche sucht ist man hier gold richtig.Die Flasche ist sehr gut verarbeitet und man fühlt das es sich hierbei um ein Marken Produkt handelt.Die beworbene kalt/warm Haltung ist sogar etwas zu gut da heißer Tee sogar bei offenen Deckel teilweise 1.5-2.5 Stunden braucht um auf trink Temperatur abzukühlen. Man kann heißen Tee einfüllen und die Flasche für 6h in die gefrier truhe legen und der Tee wird immernoch angenehm warm sein.Die selbst saüberung funktioniert sehr gut und die Flasche fühlt sich merkbar sauber an in Vergleich zu anderen Flaschen. Das schmeckt man auch raus. Der Akku hält mehrere Wochen ohne Probleme.Wer eine gute Flasche für allwetter oder lange auflüge sucht hat hier die perfekte Wahl gefunden.

The LARQ bottle has been my best $100 investment in hydration! The water tastes incredibly smooth and refreshing - it reminds me of the silky, pure taste you get from Fiji water. This is my second bottle. Bought the first over a year ago and have not had any problems with smelly bottles since then. Got this one to get a smaller size.
