I own four of these fans since 2021. I live in pacific nw where are summers are milder than many places. Our summers rarely stretches of upper 80s and might hit 90 sometimes. Our summer nights tend to cool down to upper 60s often. So I use these fans and app to control the air flow to suck in air in the mornings with thermostats set at 70 to turn on/off. As the sun passes over the house and it gets warmer in the back of the house, I reverse the airflow to take in the cooler air from the shady front side of the house. I also use a larger fan to blow cooler air up the stairs to the second floor, helping keep temperature under control there. No need for an air conditioner. Blue tooth to the second floor is hampered by walls and plumbing, but a few steps toward the direction the window is and it pops right in.I would buy probably buy 2 more of these fans if I knew the controller could work with more fans, but I can't seem to find anything that says it can.

I wanted this fan to replace a totally manual window fan that will not reverse direction unless you manually take 8t out of the window and point it in the opposite direction. I've had reversible and independently operated manual fans were different controls mechanically toggle intake-exhaust & speed. Those fans were fine. This fan was to replace my single direction multi-speed fan.It did replace my current fan. Twice. For a little over 48 hours time. Twice because the 1st fan operated about 40-ish hours before it totally stopped working. After talking with Amazon customer service, they arranged my return of the fan to s local Kohl's with fan #2 scheduled to arrive on the one-week anniversary of receiving the original fan.Great! Fan #2. About an hour or two after I received it, I took my single direction multi-speed manual fan out of the window to replaced with this model fan...again.It started just fine. It paired (because it's a Bluetooth fan) with the phone just fine. Operated as expected. Went to bed with it exhausting air on one and I taking air on the other.Then I woke up the next morning....and... nothing. No sir movement. Pressing the on/off button doesn't activate it. Unplugging it from that outlet and plugging into a different outlet yields the same results.For the brief period of time it did operate, it's temperature controls, quietness, & remote control was okay. If it operated beyond a few days time, I might give it 5 stars on each. Because it failed, I'm not giving anything to these operational category ratings. For products you'll never buy again & want to warn others about, it should be possible for negative star ratings to take away from the good rating performance. I'd give it a -5 stars. Instead, this gets a single star as that is as low as I can go.Two fans that combined time of operation was easily 2 days.When I operate a fan normally, outside of a power outage that cuts the fans power supply to prevent it from moving air, the fan is on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days until it dies when I'm forced to replace it.Needless to say, this is the most underperforming & disappointing fan I've EVER had.

This is a great little unit, The fact that it's Bluetooth controlled is wonderful, It has a fantastic array of settings that allow you to customize it it for your personal needs, Not only can you control it remotely you can set a timer you can set it to cut by temperature and and you can control the fan speed band speed direction of air flow And what temperature it will shut off, Or if you prefer you can set it in non temperature cut mode and it will run continuously continuously in whatever setting you left it at, I got mine on Amazon for $24 it was brand newas brand new out of a sealed Box, I previously owned a homes brand we'll sprang double window fan with the reversible fans and a manual thermostat stop had it for almost 10 years till one of the Fan motors finally died and I was disappointed at 1st at 1st until I found this one, I've had it for a couple weeks so far and I love it. I found this one on Amazon on sale on sale for $24 or no I can't read the price, Other places it's retailing Between $69 $100, Don't know how they did it but the price was fantastic as well

Fan works great. Quiet, temperature control works nicely.Only complaint is there is no remote, you must use your phone for remote access and not all of us sleep with our phones. And it would be nice if it had a timer for turning it on and off.

We use this fan in the upper half of a double hung window. We were a bit hesitant since most makers only show installation in the lower half of a double hung. But we installed this no problem in the upper half by turning the unit upside down, so that unit channels align with window frames (see photos). This installation makes the most sense for us since we want to move hot air out of an upstairs room.Our window is 42 inches wide, so we close off the excess space with a piece of plywood.We chose this unit because it had the highest rating for low noise level. And we can confirm the low fan noise. Our cat sleeps in this window and continues to use it as a sleeping area with the fan running, so she approves as well. It is keeping the room comfortable on hot days, something we couldn’t achieve before buying this fan.The Bluetooth app and controls work great - they are simple and intuitive. We can control fan on-off, fan direction, speed, and activation temperature from our ground floor. The only disadvantage in our installation is the temperature readout is upside-down as well; a very minor inconvenience.We would recommend this unit to others considering a window fan because of its efficient heat exhaust function, relatively quiet fans, and Bluetooth remote. The extra $20 we spent on this unit compared to similar fans was well worth the money.

Easy to put in place, just wish the fins were a little bit longer to fit better in the window.Really like that it can be operated from the fan or by bluetooth.Main complaint would be it’s loud, especially when you are trying to sleep.

I read all of the reviews and it turns out A LOT of people have the same issue I have. After less than two months the fan died. I contacted the seller and they basically told me I'm on my own! If there are this many issues with the product then the seller must be intentionally selling broken products. The seller should stand behind what they sell.Good fan. Criminal seller.STAY AWAY!!PS I left a review a few weeks ago, now it's gone. Go figure.

It was a really hot week and the temperature was fluctuationing a lot and since I couldn't get it to connect to my phone I moved to another room due to the consistent on/off every 1-2 mins. Then the smoke alarm went off I went in to check and there was a little flame inside with lots of smoke and it was dead. I also couldn't reach the company for any support.
