Pouring copper. Heated up mold poured copper in and the whole mold cracked in the middle. Been doing this a long time first time I got a crack on my first pour.

These are all think and sturdy. I appreciate the differences in size. I think this will help you have a consistent weight, with different metals, but I am not sophisticated enough to know what metal goes where as I so far only melt aluminum and copper. If you are new to metal melting then this is a good set. Keep in mind that while these are thick and sturdy, they are also brittle and can (will!) break if dropped or if you use leverage to pull the metal out after it cools. I am speaking from experience here. (so far these have not been broken, but there is a reason I got these!)

Had higher hopes. Was able to use the large mold once. Second pour obliterated it. Seems the other molds hold well for aluminum. If your looking to pour hotter metals prolly not the molds for you would not recommend...

These are great. They work and fit perfectly with my muffle furnace. Its an easy way to melt scrap silver, gold, or any other precious metal you choose. Has several different shapes and sizes to choose from. After several uses there is no degradation or cracking, they hold up perfectly. These are fairly fragile if you drop them or bang them on thigs, but for their intended use, they will last a lifetime. I easily recommend these to anyone needing small casting molds.

It would have been unique but it could not withstand the heat.

Used 3 of the large ones and 2 of the 3 broke when I poured molten silver into them. Ruined the bars. Find a better product.
