Great little molds for my small furnace. I melt random aluminium, brass, bronze, and copper for fun and these hold up well for many melts.

It survived several falls from a few places. In the end it did it's job. Multiple ingots stacked up, take that old window frames!

I'm in the precious metal melting business and have been using the same graphite forms for over 10 years. I managed to drop my large mold and one of the short sides broke off. I use a large format floor Ceia electromagnetic furnace @1100°C to melt mixed gold karats into refining bars to send to refineries. So far these forms have been useful as replacements though slightly thinner to my former forms. We'll just see how long they will last banging gold out of them.
