My purpose for this knee brace is as a medical device. My right knee was shattered from a motorcycle accident and now requires a knee brace. I've always had issues with standard knee braces not fitting right or being so bulky that it hits my other leg while walking. On top of those issues, standard 'custom' knee braces are very expensive.All of those issues are completely resolved by the c frame. Very customizable fitment, metal structure on the outside that has a gear that actually assists in the movement of the leg at the knee. My knee has less strain on it when i go up the stairs! Best part is, this is also 1/5th the price of any high end knee brace on the market. I love this knee brace and i highly recommend it for anyone with similar issues as me. At the time of purchase, this was $399 Canadian. Best investment I've made
