Tool suck! Ratchet stop working only used it 8 times the lock sometimes gets in the way overall waste of money highly unreliable I’m unsatisfied.

This thing has been mostly great so far. Cute through pvc like butter. Compared to the piece of junk I was using it’s a huge step up. Good ratcheting action. Only had one issue when I was very inconveniently located underneath a dock cutting 1†PVC and I couldn’t get the ratcheting mechanism to catch and start cutting. I wrestled with it a little bit, but it hasn’t happened again yet. That was the problem I was trying to avoid so I’m hoping it doesn’t occur in the future. We will see. Overall I like the tool a lot.

Yes, this pvc cutter is somehwat pricey, but you'll be glad you paid the extra cash. It appears to be well-made and rugged. It cuts pvc pipe so easily and accurately. Money well spent. You can't go wrong with this item.
