I've only had it installed for a few days so far so good. It look great easy to install just 2 screws. Anyone with a screwdriver should be able to do it no need for a expensive meachain to do it. For the price you can't go wrong with it. It's much brighter than the factory one. No problem with the fit at all. Works as it should. Overall I think it's a great value. I give it 5 stars..

Plugged it in where my old incandescent bulb center brake light was the LED is much brighter and pretty

My review of the LESAUCE 2025 Upgraded 3rd Third Brake Light for 1999-2006 Chevrolet (Chevy) Silverado GMC Sierra 1500 2500 3500 HD Classic LED Cargo Light High Mount Stop light, Chrome Housing Red LensThis is an excellent upgrade for the factory cab top brake light. This light was very easy to install. There are only two screws that need to be removed. Do not drop them since they need to be used again. There are no new screws in the package. There is what I believe to be a resistor wired in to the fixture. I used some duct tape to tape it to the body so it wouldn't be rattling around and making noise. The new light does come with a new gasket and the plug fits the factory connection. The brake light is much brighter than the original bulbs. But the cargo light is where this really shines. The cargo light is unbelievably bright. It lit up the entire bed of my pickup truck. If you had work to do and this was your only light you would have no problem seeing at all. I would recommend this upgraded cab mounted brake light.
