Found a leak in the back of the fridge, turned out to be this valve. 5 minute fix. I can't confirm this is actually an "LG" part, but it looks identical to the original, installed as instructed, and the leak is gone. Half the cost of others listed, and less than half the cost of a tech visit alone.

Perfect replacement and worked fine.I did not see a ‘how to ‘ do the replacement at amazon. That would have been nice. I did find resources elsewhere online.

Our water was coming out of the dispenser at a very slow rate. I tried changing the water filter and it did not work. After some researching, I decided to try the water valve. When the part arrived it was exactly as the original. It was easy to install. After it was finished I dispensed some water and the water flow was back to normal. Will definitely order another if it should be needed. All the markings was the same as the original. At Sears this part costs $150. This was a very inexpensive fix.

The valve itself hooks right up, but I had to use the original bracket as the one suppled is about 1/4" shorter so it holds the valve out a bit so the back cover wouldn't clear the valve. The problem was the icemaker not working. After installing the new valve, I confirmed the water dispenser worked. I then checked the ice, I found the bin full. What the heck! I had turned the icemaker off when it stopped making ice last week, and we then had a brief power flicker that I guess reset the problem. I turned the icemaker back on 3 days ago to confirm it worked via the test button, and then left it on. Short story is my original valve still worked. Moral of the story, unplug the refrigerator to see if it resets itself.

Perfect replacement part for LG LFXS30766S fridge's water inlet valve (LG part number: AJU72992603). This was so easy to install. Find a youtube video by just typing the inlet valve part number into youtube and you'll be ready in less than 10 minutes. Anyone that can use a screwdriver can replace this part.Great part, great price. Time will tell if I keep my opinion but glad I could get our water in the fridge back up and running in less than 2 days without a huge bill.

After researching to make sure this was exactly what my model fridge needed, I bought this after the water started trickling out while it sounded like someone had installed a desk fan with a baseball card stuck in the blades.After watching a few YouTube videos, I easily installed the new unit, and BAM! Outstanding water pressure without the loud noise any longer! Soooo happy I did it myself rather than higher someone or buying a new fridge.If you aren’t sure if you can do it yourself, watch the YouTube videos first just to see the steps. It’s honestly as easy as removing a few screws, unplugging the old one, and plugging in the new one.

Water inlet valve failed after 6 weeks. Two weeks after return window closed! Attempts to contact the seller through Amazon takes you to the WHIRLPOOL website. Would even settle for a replacement instead of refund so I have one on hand seeing as repairman says that water inlet valve failure is very common with LG refrigerators.
