I ordered this LG filter for my Kenmore Elite microwave (model # 721.88513900, made in 4/2010) The exact measurements of this LG filter are 11in x 2-5/8 in x 3/4in thick. I did not buy the microwave new, it was installed in a house we bought. When I removed the old filter it was the exact same product, product numbers, etc., as the this new LG one, but I have no way of knowing if it was original equipment. This new one seems to fit, but is about 3/8 inch short on the 11 in dimension, so I suspect the original equipment filter might have been about 11 3/8 in. long. To sum up: I made a 3/8 spacer (which may or may not be needed), inserted the new filter and it works just fine.

This microwave is convenient and the automatic preset cooking features we have used are very reliable. We tend to use it alot to cook fresh or frozen vegetables, and the preset options do an excellent job. One of tge reasons we selected this recirculating model was the changeable charcoal filter since we have an open kitchen with no outside vent for kitchen odors, and this model, although a bit noisy on the highest setting, does a pretty good job.

First off, this filter replaces the one in our Kenmore Microwave. The Sears website lists it for almost $25.00. Amazon didn't show any results for Kenmore filters so I scrolled through the available filters to find one similar. When I saw this, it looked the same. The measurements were identical then I noticed that the part number was the same as listed for the Kenmore filter. I ordered it and it is the exact same filter in every way. Side by side, all the numbers and letters match up. Best part, this one was less than half the cost of the 'original', no shipping charges and no tax. Additionally, I ordered the filter on a Saturday and it arrived two days later on Monday. As I write this, it's not even scheduled to arrive for another 2-7 days. I'm very pleased with both the product and the seller.

perfect fit although the actual product measurement is just under 11†long 2 - 9/16†high and 11/16†thick. To install- On a LG model LVM2031BD, open door, remove one small phillips screw on top of box, slide the black plastic cover left and gently remove toward you. Filter pulls out from bottom. Notice how it sits on two metal tabs. Replace in reverser order and put screw back in.

Replaced the original filter of the microwave in the house we bought. Original filter completely blocked by grease and was falling apart. Has been in a year. Does its job and collects grease. Was a tight fit and filter media seemed a little different than original but it works and that is what counts.

Good value compared with LG's own site. It should be changed every couple of years depending on usage. Being charcoal impregnated, it's not cleanable.
