I had no idea my over-the-range microwave even had a charcoal filter—until I started noticing lingering cooking odors that just wouldn’t go away. After some Googling, I realized that the filter needs to be replaced regularly (who knew?!). When I removed the old one, it was completely filthy!I ordered the Whirlpool W10892387 Genuine OEM Charcoal Filter, and it fit perfectly. Installation was super easy—just popped the old one out and slid this one in. I immediately noticed a difference; cooking smells don’t hang around as long, and the air just feels fresher in my kitchen.The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the price—I feel like it’s a little expensive for a simple filter. But since it’s an OEM part, I know it’s the right fit and quality. Overall, I’m really happy with it, and now I know to replace it more often!

This microwave oven charcoal filter replacement is an EXACT match for the original factory filter. It is 5-7/16†x 3-1/4†and pops right into the locking tabs on the filter slot. I am very satisfied with the quality of this product.

If this is for your Whirlpool microwave, then this is what you want. It is hiding though and hopefully your cabinets are not covering the screws like mine was. The exhaust from the microwave is processed thru this filter and discharged out and up the front bottom part of your cabinets. Most home owners have no clue that they have one. The filter lasts about 6 months.

Exact replacement fit. Easy to change out. Most of the comparable slightly less cost ones will come up a tad too short although they supposedly measure the same….. they do not.

As described. Product is genuine filter. However, if you are deciding to use this filter with the microwave - if you can have it exhaust it outside, do so. Even with this filter, some grease with blow upwards onto your cabinet doors.

Good size and price for our Nuvid Ikea microwave oven. Hard to find at a descent price. So we were happy to find it on Amazon.
