Is it perfect, no, but it's not commercial grade or anything so I wasn't expecting it to be. It's a complete steal at this price compared to $500 plus options I looked at so that's why I give it 5 stars. I saw all the reviews for the 45 degree only version that is was not safe and wobbly. This is not the case with the adjustable 45 degree to 90 degree version. It has a slight shake but it's not at all wobbly and I feel completely safe on it. The instructions are good and build time took me about an hour, although it was much faster because I had an adjustable socket wrench. It would take longer if you're only using the tools provided.

It was missing a nut, but the company sent me a new one in decent time. I'm 5'10" 170 lb it. foot end does come off the ground a little. Not to the any point of concern, but I do put a 50lb dumbbell on there for extra safety. 200lb plus might want something more stable.

It's not 37" wide in the front. It's only 35.5". Decades ago most females didn't use Roman Chairs in gyms because they were a little too intense on the lower back. Marketing resolved this issue by lowering the angle of your body from 90 degrees to 45 degrees where your feet were back down near the floor. This made it a lot easier to do back hyperextensions and doubled the market size by accommodating women buyers, too. Lionscool has gone a step further by engineering a way to adjust the angle at multiple positions from 45 to 90 degrees making it as easy or difficult as you want it to be. However, when you're at or near 90 degrees you have to be careful while climbing on and off of this apparatus or else you might fall. After you learn how through practice it's a more smooth process. The handle bars and foot pegs help. Also, you need to be careful and go slow when doing the back hyperextensions or you could hurt your back. If you have a significant back problem I wouldn't advise using one of these. That said... for most users it works your lower back, buttocks, and hamstrings in a unique way that increases both strength and flexibility for many of your routine everyday activities. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for the clunkyness when mounting and dismounting.
